The American Recovery and Revitalization Act of 2009 provides homeowners a significant tax incentive to make improvements to the overall energy efficiency of their homes, including insulation.
For insulation to qualify, its primary purpose must be to insulate. (example: vapor retarders are covered, siding does not qualify.) It must meet 2009 IECC & Amendments.
