Hochstedler Energy Systems, Inc. is a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company specializing in any type of climate control equipment from sales to installation to service over the life of your system. The Company has been in continuous service to Central and Northern Indiana since 1966. We serve customers from Wabash to Carmel, from Lebanon to Hartford City and all parts in between.

The original incarnation of the company, Hochstedler Insulation, was started by Milo Hochstedler and specialized in installation of insulation and weatherization. The energy crisis of the 1970's allowed continued growth and innovation in the business, including the manufacture of cellulose insulation in-house. Hochstedler's also became the first company in Howard County, Indiana to install polyurethane foam insulation. We no longer install foam insulation but can recommend area contractors who do.

The Company extended into the heating business with electric heat. In 1978 the first water source heat pump was installed in the area by Hochstedler's. The Company still specializes in both air-source and water-source(geo-thermal) heat pumps for many different applications.

In 1982, Hochstedler Insulation was incorporated into Hochstedler Energy Services by Milo's son Robert and his wife Rachael. Our business continued to expand, evenually moving out of the Hochstedler homestead to our current location at 6205 East County Road 00 North/South, Greentown, Indiana.

In May 2010 long time employee Curt Rivers took over ownership and renamed the company Hochstedler Energy Systems. There are 9 full-time employees consisting of install crews, service technicians, window and door crews and sales and office staff. The majority of our employees have been with the company for an extended period of time. We as a company are very proud of our many years of experience in the HVAC industry.

Hochstedler Energy Systems is a certified dealer of WaterFurnace heat pumps and American Standard furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps. Our service techs are trained to work on all makes and models of heating, air conditioning and climate control equipment including oil heat systems and hot water boilers. We also sell and install windows and doors from Sunrise Windows and Doors, indoor air quality equipment for mold and bacteria remediation and humidification and de-humidification equipment. Plus, we install insulation in attics and sidewalls.

Training and education of our staff is top priority in order to provide you with the best service experience possible. Our staff is continuously educated in the latest trends in the HVAC industry, attending training seminars on a regular basis. Some of our service technicians are certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE), a stringent national HVAC certification organization. Our service trucks stock a wide variety of parts for your HVAC systems so our Technicians in most cases should be able to take care of your problem in a single visit.

The best customer service in the world is our goal for you. We strive to make your association with us as a company as pleasant and worry-free as possible from your first call to our office, through installation of your system, to the best service available in our area. Please call us and judge for yourself. We feel confident that if given a chance, Hochstedler Energy Systems can meet all of your climate control needs. We look forward to doing business with you!
